Account Manager, Cultural Intelligence Centre
Polly Collingridge was born and (mostly) brought up in London, in the UK. However she has also lived in Mexico, Ireland, Italy, Costa Rica , Scotland and the USA at different times in her life and speaks (somewhat rusty!) Italian and Spanish.
Polly holds an MSc in Cross-Cultural Psychology and is also a Cultural Intelligence (CQ) certified facilitator. She has held sales and service delivery roles within the fields of global mobility and employee wellbeing and earlier in her career she sat on the board of the UK independent book publisher Canongate, where she ran the translation rights department.
She is currently Account Manager at the Cultural Intelligence Centre UK, responsible for consulting with both new and existing clients from the private and public sector about the wide variety of intercultural challenges they’re facing.
The thread that runs throughout these different experiences is her passion for sharing stories and ideas, facilitating connections between people and getting to the heart of what's important in any given situation. She is a firm believer in the role intercultural moves and the development of cultural intelligence can play in helping us work towards a more equitable society in which we all understand ourselves, and each other, a little better.
